The Danny Fund is a 100% volunteer organization. There is no paid staff; even the social workers volunteer their time. As a result, more than 95% of every dollar raised goes directly to support the Danny Kids. In 2004, The Danny Fund restructured to encourage more volunteers to get involved. There are seven officers and six directors, supported by committees which include Family Liaision, Finance, Fund Raising, Grants, Membership, and Public Relations. Friends of The Danny Fund can give as little or as much of their time as they wish and select what type of help they are most interested in providing.
